No dog(s) will be released to anyone other than the owner, unless prior written authorization has been received. Dog(s) will only be released to third party with cash payment, no third-party checks will be accepted. No exceptions. Any dog left beyond the scheduled pick-up date will be subject to a double board charge during unscheduled days.
Granite Bay Kennel agrees to give named dog(s) full care and to keep kennels sanitary and properly enclosed. Dog(s) shall be fed properly and provided with safe, clean sleeping quarters. Granite Bay Kennek further agrees to attempt to notify owner if dog(s) should become ill. All dog(s) left in care of Granite Bay Kennel, personnel or agents are left without liability on the part of Granite Bay Kennel for loss, damage from disease, death, running away, theft, fire or injury to themselves or to other persons or property, or unavoidable causes of other natures.
Owner of dog(s) authorizes Granite Bay Kennel to consult any veterinarian available, if the dog(s) should require medical attention. Any services rendered by the veterinarian shall be at the owner's expense. Owner acknowledgese that should the dog(s) bite a Granite Bay Kennel staff member, Granite Bay Kennel is required by law to report the bite and the dog(s) must be quarantined at a veterinarian or Placer County Animal Control. All charges accrued at the Granite Bay Kennel as well as the quarantine board will be the owenr's responsibility. The owner's being overdue 10 days from the return date given to Granite Bay Kennel without notification by phone, mail, family member, or friend will constitute abandonment. After effort has been made to contact the owner at the listed address and telephone number(s), the dogs will be disposed of; placed in home of as management sees fit; and charges will still be owed to Granite Bay Kennel. Granite Bay Kennel reserves the right to refuse services.
